A Greek Orthodox priest approached marine reservist Jasen Bruce for directions after becoming lost near St Petersburg, Florida. Instead of directions he got repeatedly beaten with a tyre iron, chased three blocks and pinned to the ground while Jasen used his brain and called 911 to report a 'captured terrorist'.
However, using his brain was where the problem started.
When this moron was arrested by police he lied that the priest shouted Allahu Akbar [Arabic for God is Great]... without realising that the man he attacked was in fact Greek. "That's what they tell you right before they blow you up," police say Bruce told them.
Words that come to mind: bigotry, racism, stupidity. But there's probably more.

Good jumping Jesus, I didn't see this story anywhere in the mainstream media. It reminds me of the time a Sikh gas station owner was murdered by a "patriot" right after 9/11. Apparently the sight of a man in a turban was too much for this loon.
The number of lies this jackass told to the police too... and then at 1:30 am, when the police come for him, he's got a lawyer sat with him. WTF?
